At wodibow we know that plastic is a very useful material for making frisbees. Its properties allow these disks to fly straight over long distances; thus, we can spend hours throwing them from one place to another and have a lot of fun. The bad thing is that the plastic in frisbees is never going to stop being plastic, not even a hundred and fifty years from now, and that doesn’t seem like so much fun to us at wodibow.
That’s why our wodibows, out of respect for you and for the world in which we live, are only made out of 100% natural materials that don’t contain odd things that pollute or damage the planet or its inhabitants.
We use vaporized beech natural wood from sustainable European forests. We use eco-friendly water-based paint made in Spain, a product that has neither chemical solvents nor toxic additives. We use neodymium magnets that have passed the strictest European quality control tests.
Our wooden toys have also passed the Technological Institute for Children’s Products and Leisure Toy Lab test, the Eupropean Union Standard EN 71-3 and the U.S. Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety ASTM F963-11, and it’s been determined that they’re all appropriate for children aged 3 years-old and up, even though sometimes they’re recommended for older children due to their complexity.
Once you have your wodibows put together, you will be able to spend hours playing and having fun with them, although we aren’t too sure how long they would last unharmed if you threw them around like a frisbee…
